Need a bus from school to the mountain?
Register with Holbrook Rec via the button below and Hermon Mountain. Bus sign-ups are first come, first served. Please request a seat only if your child needs one. If you can carpool, you’ll help keep busing available for children without another ride. There is no return bus.
Providing your own transportation to the mountain?
NEW! If your child doesn’t need the bus, there’s no need to sign up with Holbrook Rec. Registering with Hermon Mountain is your only step, and you won’t need to sign your child out at the end of the evening.
How does it work?
Getting there: Students can ride the bus from school to Hermon Mountain, or families can bring them directly. Holbrook Rec provides busing, at no cost to families, for students who sign up.
At the mountain: Volunteer leaders meet students, help with tickets and rental gear, and make sure each child gets to their lesson or has a buddy to ski or ride with.
Rental equipment: Students renting equipment will get volunteer help with their gear.
Your own equipment: Students with personal equipment can drop it at Holbrook School on Wednesday mornings by 11am and it will be transported to the mountain.
Helmets: Helmets are required for everyone signed up through Holbrook Rec. Rentals include helmets, and Hermon may have loaners for students who aren’t renting.
Pick-up: Students must be picked up at Hermon Mountain by 7 p.m. Caregivers need to arrange transportation home.
2027 Ski / Snowboard Club
Volunteers and Sponsors Needed
No skiing or snowboarding experience required. We need support helping kids on the mountain, managing gear, and assisting with tickets. It takes a village to get all those kids off the bus, into their gear and back outside in a timely manner!
Huge thanks to all the volunteers who have made this program run so well over the years! If you’re interested in helping, please complete the Holbrook Rec. volunteer form.
Thank you to Dead River Company for generously sponsoring this program during the 2025–26 and 2026–27 seasons! Interested in becoming a sponsor? We’d love to hear from you!
New to the Ski & Snowboard Club?
Request our orientation! Our orientation slideshow (available as a short video you can watch anytime) walks first-time families through what to expect, so your child feels ready for their first Wednesday night at Hermon Mountain. It covers:
